The 2008 ASLA Central States Conference panel of judges awarded PBA the Merit Award in the Communication category for our Lenexa Interpretive Signs Project. This award recognizes PBA's "superior professional accomplishment" in the graphic communication design of a series of informational sign panels developed to explain ecosystems, stormwater filtration, wildlife and habitat in the Lenexa, Kansas area. PBA was awarded the Greenway and Trail Planning & Design Award of Excellence (2003) by the American Society of Landscape Architects Prairie Gateway Chapter. The award was in recognition of Outstanding Professional Achievement for the MetroGreen Action Plan.
